How/what Food is Distributed to Clients:
An assortment of perishable and non perishable foods available. USDA Commodities is available to clients living at or below poverty level three times each month.
Qualifications required to receive food:
There is no income requirement for regular food program. Please bring with you: proof of residence, picture ID, how many in household and dietary restrictions. Commodities program is a self-declaring program, clients do their own screening.
Volunteer Opportunities/Community Service:
No court ordered Community Service is currently available. We welcome volunteers needing school credit - service with a smile.
Pending Events:
Annual Auction - June 2009. -- "End Summer Hunger" grocery program for kids in need. -- "Summer Lunch Camp" programs for kids in need.

Annual Postal Food Drive - Spring
Other assistance offered by our organization:
When funds are available: some energy and rental assistance, motel stays for homeless and clothing. -- Household items are also distributed when needed at no cost. -- We also have a Holiday Gift program for low income children. -- School Supply program in September. -- Back to School Clothing exchange. -- "Prom Closet Program" for teens in need of formal wear for events.
