How/what Food is Distributed to Clients:
Fresh and non-perishable items are available for a total of eight distributions per year plus one holiday box. Bread and USDA commodities are available separately anytime during food bank hours.
Qualifications required to receive food:
Our service area includes residents of Suquamish Kingston, Hansville, Port Gamble, Indianola, Eglon, Little Boston, and some border addresses in Poulsbo. There are no income requirements for the regular food program. New clients should bring proof of residence, picture ID, how many in household and dietary restrictions.
Volunteer Opportunities/Community Service:
Grocery Rescue pickups, facility maintainence, website maintainence, general Food Bank service, general Thrift Store service. Community Service accepted on an as available basis with appropriate advance notice and clear background check.

Launch of Working Closet
Free work attire for those who have been unemployed and are in need of job search, interview, or shift clothes.

Other assistance offered by our organization:
Crisis assistance as available within our service area, primarily for emergency utility and rent payments and weekend take home food program for school children in our service area.
